Bill Murray On His Ghostbusters 3 Role

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

Bill Murray has spilled a small bit of info on his role in Ghostbusters 3. You may remember that Sigourney Weaver revealed that Bill Murray may end up being a ghost in the sequel to the classic 80’s hit. Not Murray seems to confirm that notion. In an interview with Mail Online, Murray reveals:

I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.

The first 45 minutes of the original Ghostbusters is some of the funniest stuff ever made.  The second one was disappointing, because the special-effects guys took over. I had something like two scenes – and they’re the only funny ones in the movie.

So what are your thoughts? Is Ghostbusters 3 shaping up to be a deservign follow-up in the franchise? Or do you grow more dissappointed with each new revelation?
