Smallville To Finally Get Its Superman?

Smallville may finally allow Clark Kent to become Superman. Check out what may be in store for the new costume.

EDIT:
Obviously this turned out to be false, as the all black “suit” has made it’s appearance in marketing and eventually the show. So a false report or false description. Either way, we got “a” costume, just not this costume.

According to reports from San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. is apparently offering random attendees the chance to glimpse the Superman outfit for the upcoming season of Smallville. It is described as a single piece outfit. Blue on the front and back, red running down the sleeves and sides of the legs. The Superman symbol is present, and protrudes slightly from the chest. The big surprise…No cape! The costume will supposedly make its debut on the season premier titled SUPERMAN.

The costume sounds strikingly similar to the Eradicator costume from the “Death and Return of Superman” series of comics from the mid-90’s. Check out my Photoshop for an idea of what to possibly expect.

Nice job on the pic there :)

Not bad, I really need to get caught up on Smallville.

This is a fake costume with a fake story. for the real scoop, go to kryptonsite.com.
The premiere episode isn’t even named Superman, but Savior. And the costume is completely different. This is some fake crap.

    • Joe Moore says:

If you read the post, you would see that no one claimed it to be the official costume, as it’s clearly marked a Photoshop, and was posted prior to the SDCC Smallville panel.

  4. Johnny5 says:

The season isn’t over yet, they do still have a plan for a costume change once he learns to fly, unless that’s been since changed.

    • Joe Moore says:

I haven’t been following it at all this year. So I have no idea what’s in store. If they decide to go with a “real” costume, then I could dig it.
